Bread of Life Food Giveaway

Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Road, Lincolnton held their third Bread of Life Food Giveaway on February 9, 2013. 131 boxes of food were given away totaling 6,000 pounds. The food will serve 349 people in Lincoln County. Food was obtained through Lincoln County Christian Ministry and Second Harvest Food Bank of Charlotte. Twenty four Daniels' volunteers boxed up food with assistance from eight children from Daniels. Holy Cross Lutheran Church of Lincolnton sent a team of 7 to observe and learn how to conduct their own food giveaway. Daniels' next food giveaway is June 15, 2013.
